What is FestGears?

FestGears is an online app builder for music festivals. It enables you, as festival organizer, to add your content via online CMS (admin console), such as list of artists, schedule, map, etc. and get our team to build and publish iOS and Android apps and App Store and Google Play. Your attendees will be able to download them from those mobile marketplaces to their devices.

How much does it cost?

We've got a fixed annual price of 1,500 EUR. It includes all features: access to CMS, app building and publishing and support. There are no hidden fees or extra charges.

Do I need to know programming to use FestGears?

Not at all, our CMS is an easy-to-use admin console with intuitive design. All tech stuff is done behind the scenes by our team, you don't need to worry about it.

When do I need to pay?

You can sign up for FestGears absolutely free and start adding your content and playing with the features. Only when you are ready to deploy your apps - that is when they are actually being built and published - that's when you will need to pay the fee to get things going.

How long does it take to see my apps live?

As soon as you are done adding your content and send us a request to proceed with deployment it will take 1 day for us to build your apps. We will send them to you for review and if we receive green light we will immediately publish apps. Apple reviews all new apps manually, so it can take from 5 days to 2 weeks before your app appears in App Store. Google Play approval is automatic, so your Android app will be up and running in a few hours after we publish.

What if there are changes in lineup or schedule, can I push updates into a published app?

Yes, whole content is dynamic and live apps keep checking for updates with our server. So you can easily post your updates and even send push notifications to your users to notify them about those updates.

I've got an image for a map, don't want to use Google Maps. Can I do that?

Sure. CMS allows you to choose between 3 types of maps: pure Google Maps - when your event takes place on some particular area and you simply add locations of your POI's there, letting your users navigate around as usually; Google Maps with image overlay - when you have your own graphics for a map, but it is actually linked to a real location on Earth, same for users - they can navigate around easily; image map - when you have your own graphics for a map and it is not really tied to a particular location (ex: indoors festival).
